Revenue Growth Program
LINA has partnered with Bastion Transform to develop a Revenue Growth Pilot Program, tailored to local newsrooms. This hands-on program supports publishers to experiment with a new income stream or expand your existing offering over a 12-week period. Newsrooms will be paired with an experienced mentor for guidance and support while cultivating an experimental mindset, implementing the ‘test and learn’ experiment, and tracking revenue outcomes.
The end result will be a deeper understanding of how to diversify revenue, how to utilise structured experiments to grow revenue and ultimately, a new or expanded revenue stream to earn income.
2025 APPLICATIONS OPEN
There are 12 subsidised positions available to participate in the program. LINA will cover 75% of the program fees and newsrooms will contribute $1,000 + GST to join the 2025 cohort.
Submit an expression of interest in the 2025 program. Placements will be confirmed in January 2025.
More details
The program is running from February to April 2025.
Time commitments will vary depending on the complexity of the revenue experiment you would like to roll out, however it is expected that participants will:
- Join a half-day online training program in week commencing in early February;
- Meet with mentors online each fortnight;
- Contribute to monthly check-ins with a cohort group of up to five participants; and
